Pastor Jose Morales was born on April 23, 1987, in the city of Nyack, NY. He was born to Jose Morales Jr. and Patricia Evans but raised from the age of 1 by his paternal grandmother, Sarah Lopez who he considers his mother. Jose is of Puerto Rican and African American decent, which contributed to his upbringing in Puerto Rico and New York.
Throughout his teen years of living in Puerto Rico where he graduated high school, he attended Iglesia Pentecostal M.I Capitanejo where he was baptized in waters and began his walk with the Lord.
In 2005, shortly after graduating high school, he went to New York for what he thought was a temporary trip to then return to Puerto Rico to continue his studies. Throughout this “temporary” trip the Lord started ministering to him about other plans, this is where he makes the decision to stay in New York and attend New Jerusalem Pentecostal Church, Assembly of Christian Churches. Jose was a member of this church until June 2022 when the Lord fulfills one of his promises and he becomes the pastor of Manantial de Vida, AIC in Red Bank, NJ.
During his time at New Jerusalem Church the Lord allowed him to serve as youth leader, part of the board of trustees, elder, deacon, teacher, translator, amongst other privileges. The Lord also allowed him to serve close to his mentor Dr. Rev. Domingo Rodriguez Diaz, a man who has helped him develop, grow, and walk into the promises of God. Rev. Rodriguez has played an influential part in the life, leadership and ministry forming of Pastor Jose.
God continued to fulfill His promises in Pastor Jose as he was then called to serve as the Eastern District Youth Leader of his council for over 7 years. He also has been teaching in the biblical institute of his council, teaching classes as New Testament, Christian Living and Poetic Books. He has served as a trustee for the International Board of Assembly of Christian Churches. Over the past 15 years the Lord has him the privilege of traveling the country as a preacher and lecturer.
In 2017, Pastor Jose was diagnosed with stage 5 Chronic Kidney Failure, a condition that little by little would debilitate his health. Throughout the years more than ever he learned to rely on the Lord and His strength. He continued to preach, lead, serve and travel as the Lord would open doors for him. In August 2022, two months after pastoring he would go through a kidney transplant. Just when things seemed to get better, he was diagnosed with a pseudoaneurysm in the right iliac artery which ended up rupturing to the point of bleeding to death. Thankfully he was at the hospital at this moment and by the grace of God and quick medical intervention, today he is still alive. This would cause him to lose his previous kidney transplant. In August of 2023, exactly one year later the Lord would provide for a second kidney transplant.
In 2024 Pastor Morales began to serve as the director of public relations for Visionaries of Christ, Inc. Where he has been of great assistance and blessing for the organization.
He lives grateful for the life that God has given him, which he has vowed to live for God until his last breath. Understanding that everything he is, he owes it all to God.
